is an award winning designer and product developer with 25 years experience working in the tableware, giftware and interior accessories industry.
He has extensive knowledge of and strong links with both the UK and USA market. Ed’s ceramic shape design and modelling skills have been used by brands such as Wedgwood, Steelite International, Dudson Hotelware, Nick Munro, Lenox China USA and Royal Worcester.
In 2003 this industrial experience allowed Ed to be fast tracked onto the final year of the BA (Hons) Design: Ceramics degree at Staffordshire University. Upon graduation he was selected by the Crafts Council as one of eight designer makers to complete the Next Move scheme, a two-year artist in residency at University of Cumbria. During this period Ed concentrated on one-off commissions and bespoke sculptures that have been exhibited nationally and internationally.
